One of the most exciting developments of the year was the success of our Brew Over IceTM products. Brewing over ice represents a new way for consumers to enjoy their Keurig® Brewers, and opens new day parts and use occasions for the system.
In fiscal 2010 we expanded our selection of Perfect Iced Teas in K-Cup® portion packs under the Celestial Seasonings® brand to include Sweet Berry Lime Green Tea, Tropical Breeze White Tea, Southern Sweet Tea, and Half and Half, which is a mixture of lemonade and iced tea.
New Brew Over Ice coffee varieties, including French Vanilla and Nantucket Blend®, were also created to increase consumption, use occasions, and consumer satisfaction.
In the fall of 2010, we offered one of the season's most popular beverages — Hot Apple Cider — in K-Cup portion packs.
Going forward, we intend to continue to leverage the single-cup brewing opportunity, and its synergy with our specialty coffee business, to enhance value creation for our enterprise and the beverage experience for the consumer.
